## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the flavor and what is the dosage?**
A: I have no idea what the flavor is, there are no flavor choices. My cat did not drink it out of a bowl so I syringe fed it to him twice a day with his meal. If you follow the recommended dosage on the box each bottle will last 5 days so each box of 3 bottles is a 2 week supply.

**Q: How far away is the average expiration date? I am thinking to buy multiple boxes but don't want them to go bad.**
A: Each box of 3 bottles lasts 14 days. I usually buy 4 boxes, a 2 month supply. I've never had a problem with it being too near the expiration date.

**Q: I'm pretty skeptical about any product that doesn't list the ingredients - not even on the manufacturer's website that I can find. what's in it?**
A: From ingredient list on box: chicken broth, spray dried chicken liver, dried chicken meat, chicken fat, maltodextrins, lecithin, canola oil, modified starch, powdered cellulose, inulin, fructooligosaccharide, guar gum, xanthan gum, Taurine, Vitamin A Acetate, Calcium Pantothenate, Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate (source of Vitamin B1), Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement (source of Vitamin B2), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride source of Vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid, Biotin, Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Carbonate, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate.

**Q: is this a box with 3 bottles?**
A: Yes, it's packaged with 3 bottles, for approx. $25.00. Be sure to use up an opened bottle before 10 days.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helped my kitty recover
*by W***D on April 10, 2015*

April 15th 2015 -- My 17 year old Tabbycat recovered from near death and VIYO was one of the reasons. She had a very high liver count and wouldn't eat anything. I had to hand feed her with a food syringe. But she completely refused to take water from the syringe or any other way. I looked through Amazon to see if anyone else had found a solution and when I found the VIYO and read the reviews I decided to take a chance on it even though it seemed a bit pricey.I'm glad I did. I mixed the 30% VIYO to 70% water and she took it right away. Within 2 days of adding VIYO to her feedings she was able to hold her food down without the anti nausea medication. It's been a month and she has begun eating on her own half the time but I still give her VIYO twice a day.I'm not saying that this stuff was the only thing that helped her because she was also taking Medications but if she hadn't been able to keep some food and water down she wouldn't have survived. So it played a huge role in her recovery.I know that her time to pass over to the summer lands will be sooner than later but every extra month with this sweet soul matters. And now a note on the 72 hour limit to using VIYO after opening -- when I open the bottle the first time I immediately pour it into a zip lock bag and flatten the liquid out to about an eighth of an inch thick. I put it on a tray and freeze it like that. Then when I need some of it I just break off enough shards for the day's feedings and put the rest back in the freezer.January 5th, 2016. Update -- Tabby is doing better than she has in years since I added VIYO to her routine. She is once again able to jump up on a chair and has started to climb up on things around the house again. She is so much stronger and is more energetic overall. Her Vet said she didn't need any of the prescriptions anymore because all of her tests came back normal. I give her a 7day treatment of VIYO every other week and she has come to like it and reminds me if I forget for too long. Tabby is eating better and has put back on much of the weight she had lost last spring when she was so ill.I also added a photo of my sweet kitty getting a little scratch under her chin. That's a happy cat.January 2017. Tabby is 19 years old now and has been diagnosed with kidney disease. She doesn't want to eat much and has not been drinking as much on her own as she needs to keep from dehydrating. So the Viyo and water mixture is a very important part of her routine. I've also been feeding her a special cat food from the vet that is good for felines who have failing kidneys but lately I've been mixing it with a little water and hand feeding it with a syringe.I don't know how I'd get her to take her water without Viyo in it. Even when I'm not giving her a regular dose of it I've been putting a little into her water that I give her by hand syringe to flavor it like she likes it.These small furry friends are little bundles of love and heartbreak. I wish there was a cat hospice service who could come in and help me care for my elderly ladycat.October 2019 Tabby is 21 years old now and doing so well that I rarely even need to use the Probiotics with her anymore. She eats well, enjoys sunny afternoons outside when it's warm and loves her humans as much as we love her. I know this product isn't available anymore but I thought I'd update this anyhow because I believe that it saved my sweet kitty's life and gave us at least 4 more years together.

### ⭐ Cats Hated It.
*by L***R on October 6, 2015*

Both of my cats won't touch the stuff, and my one Calico cat will eat just about anything. My friend who owns a cat rescue recommended it. I'll be giving the remaining two unopened bottles to her.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product .
*by J***Z on October 18, 2016*

I've used Recuperation on other elderly cats I look after with great success and they loved it. It's a highly nutritious gravy. When my cat became sick he wouldn't eat it so I mixed it with his regular food then slowly reducing his regular food and increasing the Recuperation he still didn't like it . Still I would recommend this to recouperating pets because if they do eat it I think it's one of the best things on the market.
