I was afraid my piano wasn’t going to work. Turns out the only thing wrong was the cable. This cable. Well not the one I bought but the one I replaced. That being said I have a new piano again thanks to power getting back to it again.

If you are one who travels or moves around with your keyboard, you could very well drop your adapter on a hard floor. A set of batteries will work for awhile but probably not a three hour show. The cost for an adapter is small.

A power adapter that works with Casio PX850

I have to admit, I was keeping my fingers crossed that a new adapter was actually what we needed. Received it, plugged it in and Voila! Power On. Works perfectly as a replacement adapter for the Casio AP450 Celviano.
