I purchased 8 gallons of a cheaper brand of white paint which didn't cover stains well, even after 4 coats. Even though they label this a primer, I would have used this to do two coats of white paint everywhere and my apartment painting would have been completed long ago. I wouldn't have used anything else. Why would I need to do that? You learn from experience so if you read this and you're painting everything bright white, take my advice to save money and you won't have to paint more than a coat or two. Moreover, I assume painting with this will make the room extremely bright and it should last a long time. If bright white is your goal, get this. Ignore the word 'primer'. It's high-quality paint. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I prime all my yard figurines with a light coat, then paint. *by C***D on Reviewed in the United States on 21 November 2021* I just put on 3 examples, but have used it on all my figurines. So far so good. It helps the paint stay on so much better. I also have as a trial, cement pavers I stenciled. Those without the KILZ had mildew, those with KILZ are still looking good. It is worth the time to put KILZ on an item to save extra touchups or complete re paint later. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seals the canvas *by R***. on Reviewed in Canada on 15 May 2021* I use this product to seal canvas for alcohol ink artwork. It goes on very nicely with a foam brush and is quite smooth. Alcohol inks work best on a nonporous surface and this seems to do the job.
