This digital Kitchen Thermometer is good to have at home. The ideal temperature for setting curd is said to be between 35–40°C. So I tried keeping milk at 38°C to set it, and it worked. Go for it if you like it. But note - it is not for clinical application. If you want to measure fever, then use a clinical one.
