eufy Security 2K Indoor Cam, Plug-in Security Indoor Camera with Wi-Fi, IP Camera,Human and Pet AI, Works with Voice Assistants, Night Vision, Two-Way Audio, HomeBase Not Required

I bought 10 of these Eufy 2K indoor cameras last year and 8 of them lost it’s audio over past few months due to OTA (Over The Air) firmware updates by Eufy (no option to disable this OTA update). I contacted Eufy customer support, they said these needs to be replaced & are just crossed 12 months warranty period, hence total loss for me! . What I observed and learned from various online reviews is that it’s an audio codec issue (not hardware fault - some of these cameras fixes itself after iOS update and again loses audio after few days) , which can probably be fixed by Eufy by OTA, but they are reluctant to do so to push new purchases / offer discounted replacements!

No necesitas pagar servicio de la nube, puedes ponerle solo una memoria. En mi caso tiene la memoria y también tengo Video Seguro de HomeKit para guardarlo en la nube. Se conecta perfecto con Homekit.

I picked up the Eufy Security Indoor Cam C120 mainly to keep an eye on our puppy when we’re out of the house, and it’s honestly been better than expected. Writing this review after 9 months of use. Setup was quick, and the app is one of the biggest highlights. It’s clean, responsive, and gives you a ton of control without feeling overwhelming. I already had other Eufy cameras, and this one integrated seamlessly—everything shows up in one place and works the same way, which I really appreciate. What I like most is how customizable it is. You can really fine-tune notifications and detection settings. We have it set to alert and record only when it detects our pet (not people), which cuts down on a ton of unnecessary notifications. The motion and noise sensing have both been reliable so far, and I haven’t had issues with false alerts. Video quality is solid for an indoor cam, and pairing it with the Eufy HomeBase for recording is a big plus—no subscription fees, which is becoming rare these days. Honestly, I don’t really have any complaints. For the price, the features you get and the flexibility in setup make it an easy recommendation, especially if you’re already in the Eufy ecosystem.

Very happy with this camera so far. I picked this one because of its compatibility with Apple Home. Setup was a bit tricky at first. It was very easy to set up and pair to the Eufy app, but I had a real hard time getting it set up with the Apple Home app. Was getting frustrated since that was the main reason I bought it. After reading a few more reviews I realized others had the same problem, and found the solution - firmware update! After doing that, setting up in the Home app was a breeze. Literally seconds! Picture quality is outstanding. It can record up to 2K but if you are using Apple Home like me, it maxes out at 1080p. It’s fine. It’s still super clear. Motion detection is a tad sensitive, even when you adjust it. It does well to distinguish between animals and humans, so that helps. Recording can be continuous if you are not using Home and install an SD card. When using Home, continuous recording is disabled and it only records when movement or noise is detected. The plus - and this was the main reason for choosing a Home-compatible camera - is that Apple uploads recordings to your iCloud account but it doesn’t count towards your storage limit. Huge benefit IMO. Apple has improved the Home app sufficiently that you can pretty much use it exclusively for control and monitoring, but the Eufy app has some additional features and settings that you’ll need once in a while. It’s a nice app, surprisingly. Very user-friendly. So far I’m very happy with my choice. Eufy seems like a quality brand. So much so that I grabbed their pan and tilt cam (also Home compatible) on Black Friday. I reviewed that one too.
