Michael Jordan: A Kid's Book About Not Fearing Failure So You Can Succeed and Be the G.O.A.T. (Mini Movers and Shakers) Review: Fun - Great for kids educational Review: Good lesson for kids who are sports fans - I read this book in advance of reading it with my almost-7 year old who loooooves Space Jam. Nice, simple bio with a clear lesson about not fearing failure. I especially liked the quotes from Jordan himself which were interspersed, it's cool to hear the "lessons" in his own words. There were a few abbreviations/terms which might not be familiar to some like MVP, NBA, Air Jordans. I was surprised MJ's baseball stint wasn't mentioned, that has always stuck out to me as a cool example of trying/failing. Overall very nice book, appropriate for my seven year old and easy for him to read to me.

Book review
My 6 year old grandson read the entire book the same day he received it.

MJ book a little disappointing!
I liked this book, but felt it should have gone into more depth about MJ. I felt the interest was there, but felt the ending came too soon. I have read other books about MJ, which I felt were better. This book was just OK.

It’s informative but entertaining!
Just enough information for my 7yr old. I like the series. The series introduces children to many famous people that were hard workers & persevered. He loves Michael Jordan!

A great icon
Michael Jordan had to work hard to be recognized playing the game he loves. When he gets passed over to play on his high school team, this only makes him work harder so he can try again next time. This is a great book for kids to try their best and never give up your dreams.

Learning the importance of failure.
This book is a great tool for kids to learn that failure is not only okay, but so important to experience, and why. Michael Jordan is the perfect person to use for this lesson as he exemplifies the "never give up" motto and is relatable to sports fans and those who don't necessarily follow sports. The last page just nailed it!
