Sweet little set.
This five piece sake set is beautiful. Small and sweet. the bottle has two indentations for your fingers making it easy to hold. Lovely blue colour with more of a terracotta stripe than the orange that I thought it was. The tiny spout pours perfectly. The jug stands around 5 inches and the widest part around is about 7.5 inches. The cups stand approximately 2 inch and 6 inches around. Nice glazed set with, what looks like, hand painted pattern on the inside of the cups. Comes boxed. Really lovely set. I would recommend buying one.

NIce Aesthetic and Excellent Function
I really enjoy Japanese food and often make it at home. When I do, you know I want a couple of flagons of nishonshu, and so do my guests. This set comes with a good number of cups, so everyone can have a sip. The aesthetic of the set is traditional and very pleasing. It enhances my enjoyment, and looks great on the table with the food and other dishes. The construction is excellent and it is dishwasher safe. I imagine I could use the flagon for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave to heat the nihonshu, the so-called atsukan, but I do not want to take that chance. So I heat the wine in a measuring cup and pour it into the flagon. I would like the flagon to be larger because it requires frequent filling, but that might just be my profligate drinking habits....
