It is standing out from other cook books, in that the author has made such detailed steps each accompanied with beautiful photos and you will know every tip and trick for each step of the way. The recipes are precise with high standards of professional quality, yet easy to follow with sidebar notes giving advice on some common mistakes made by beginners. From Classic Charm to the Modern Chic, there are so many variations and styles. I appreciate the imaginative and artistic creations, especially in the “They belong in a zoo!” section, my wife had a lot of fun experimenting! Her first batch of croissants with four variations turned out really good, they are freshly hot, flaky and delicious, so much better than those bought from stores. We enjoyed not only feasting, but also the process of making them. Looking forward to trying the rest of the recipes. Great book!
I’m giving this 4.5 stars because the recipe for almond paste and the fruit purées weren’t included, which happens to be in several recipes. Otherwise, the pictures and steps are great!

It's always nice when you are satisfied with a purchase. I am so very satisfied with this Croissant Cookbook. I had wanted to get one for a while, but life is busy and I just hadn't stopped to look for one. I found this here at Amazon, and it got here in record time -- so thank you Amazon. Also, the steps are photographed in the book, so you get to see the whole process for the recipe, which is amazing -- I just love the variety of recipes in it, and I hope to start using it soon. Very Satisfied Customer!!!

Great results from my first trial!
Great book to get me started on my laminated pastry journey! My first recipe out of this book my croissants and other pastries came out buttery and super flaky! I recommend this as a starting point for anyone who wants to try their hands at laminated dough products.

The instructions are detailed and precise that everyone can make these delicious treats by following the directions. Absolutely a must have if you are a fan of croissants and Danish!

Clearly instructed cookbook
There are step-by-step instructions, diagrams and photos that show the procedures in making the croissant dough and other croissant pastries. However, the amount of butter used in this book is much higher than other croissant dough recipes.

Love the photography, I am a visual learner. The instruction Is so well written and easy to follow. Love this book! I will be looking at the authors other books.

The only real Danish Pastry Book I have found. It is really amazing. Easy, simple, and a great of great varieties of Danish Pastries.

Although the recipes are well written with photographs for every step, the overall quality of the book is not worth the price paid. The print, paper and pictures look of poor quality and cheap. I feel cheated that I paid Rs. 2700 for this cheap looking paperback!
