I absolutely love these Wago 221-412 Lever-Nuts. They’re extremely professional, reliable, and easy to use. I work with 2.5 mm² cables all the time, and these connectors make the job effortless. They grip solid copper perfectly, and they also hold tinned ferrules on braided copper without any issue. The build quality is excellent, the levers feel solid, and the connections stay secure. I’ve already gone through a large batch and ended up ordering another 500 units because they’ve become my go-to for almost every wiring job. Highly recommended for anyone who wants clean, safe, and fast connections.

These are very high quality wire connectors. Much better than wire nuts in my opinion. They hold the wires very securely and are much quicker and easier to use.

WAGO connectors are fast, easy to use and take up less room in a J box. They work great in tight situations and with short wire in a J box. No more sticking your fingers or pliers in a J box trying to twist on wire nuts. These are great for new construction or new wire runs where the strip wire end is straight. If you are installing them on solid conductors that were previously twisted together with wire nuts make sure the end is straight. It is recommended that you cut off the previously twisted end of the wire if you have enough and re-strip so you have a clean straight end for a tight secure connection. Do not use these on bent or previously twisted wires ends because you may not have a good connection. These take up less room in a J box and installation is very quick. Just strip the wires, slide on the connector and lock it on. Being that they are small and flat they are easy to position inside a J box. No more having to jam or move around wire nuts in a J box trying to get the outlet or switch to fit. They lay flat against the side or back of the J Box. If at all possible I will not use a wire nut again.

These levers make new wiring and rewiring projects a breeze, easy to use and much safer them old type wire nuts. The lever nuts are well-made, secure and even have a guide to tell you how much wire to strip. So much faster than the old way.

I have bought WAGOs before and now use them instead of wire nuts for residential line-voltage connections. You have to make sure they snap down on the conductor properly. Once they do, they seem to hold. I usually put electrical tape around the lever-nut for permanent connections to avoid accidental lever openings. The Peppy 78-pack comes in a better box than smaller sets that I have bought. One of the 221-412 nuts was missing. That's annoying, but not reason enough to return it.

This WAGO 221 Lever Nuts kit is an absolutely fantastic purchase! It contains everything I could possibly need for my electrical projects, and the quality is outstanding. I especially appreciate how WAGO Lever Nuts provide a superior, secure method for connecting wires, offering a significant improvement over traditional methods. One of the best features, in my opinion, is the ease of wire removal; I can confidently say that even when removing wires, there is no risk of damaging the system, which is a huge plus for both beginners and experienced electricians.

Not much to say, these are genuine Wago connectors at a price that is lower than your typical big box store. My only wish is that there was a 4-position connector so that I don't have to use the large 5-position one - which happens often enough for me to complain about this :). These are of course more than the tried and tested wire nuts, but they are virtually foolproof, and especially useful when joining solid and stranded wire. I also use these for low voltage electronics projects, alarm systems, an so on. Reliably joining multiple wire gauged and conductor types makes these indispensable. Keep in mind that these are not rated for outdoor (exposed) applications, and that these technically do introduce more resistance into the connection than a _properly_ done wire nut connection. In practical terms, the slight resistance increase is not enough to matter, but the reliability and assurance of a solid connection is worth it - something that even electricians don't always deliver.

They do exactly what they are designed to do and this purchase has a good selection. It's good value for money.

I use these wagos on every job

Where were these a decade ago? A friend told me about this new concept instead of marrettes so I went searching and found these. They are made in Germany and are CSA approved for Canada. No more crowding in the electrical box. They lay flat and fit in the box so much better than round marrettes. There are other brands but I would only use the authentic WAGO ones.
