Does this work with yaesu microphones?

We have lots of customers who use this product on Yaesu microphones. Please consider that every mic is slightly different than the others, so you may not experience perfect compatibility. We do expect Magnetic Mic to work, but If you for some find that Magnetic Mic does not work with your particular model, please return it to Amazon for a full refund and let us know the model number so we can let other customers know when they ask the same question.

Is this magnet strong enough to hold a microphone while driving off road? For example, a Jeep on a really rough road while driving at speed?

Yes this magnet is extremely strong. I usually have to do a sliding motion to get the mic to release. Expensive but well worth the money.

Will this for midland MXT275 hand mic?

Can you mount this with 3m vhb double-sided tape?

I’ve used double sided gorilla tape to hold mine on my patrol vehicle for 4 years of continuous use. Has never even come close to budging. Obviously clean and prep both surfaces.
