My son (age 3) has stepped on it, thrown it, and flung it around and I still have a perfectly good iPad in working condition without a scratch that I can tell. For some reason, this case is a miracle. While we are still learning that expensive toys are not to be mistreated, this case has been a lifesaver for a toddler. It is east to use and especially easy to carry around. He has even dropped it down the steps at times instead of carrying it down and it has survived. Now I will never guarantee that you will personally have the same results - but so far as I can tell this was 100% worth the money we spent and it has lasted over a year of chaos.
