iPhone 5C Case, Aduro COMBO Shell & Holster Case Super Slim Shell Case w/ Built-In Kickstand + Swivel Belt Clip Holster for Apple iPhone 5C

This is a super-nice iPhone 5C case, from the standpoint of utility! There are many features that do not just jump out at you, when you first see and/or feel this cell phone case. As an example, there is a pull-out stand that fits perfectly flat (and recessed) into the back of the phone case. When pulled out (and snapped into its detented open position), the phone can sit either vertically or horizontally on a flat surface (such as a table), for easy viewing without holding the phone. But one hidden feature of that, is that, if a person is holdng the phone in his or her hand, and that person puts a finger through the back of the "open" stand, then if someone bumps into the person holding the phone, it would take a whole lot of force to knock that phone out of that person's hand! In fact, it would be nearly impossible. This Aduro case is also very easy to grip because of the textured surfaces of the outer case, and because of the multi-directional textured rubber surfaces, the case grips both rough and smooth surfaces like tire treads! Yet, the case is quite rugged, from the standpoint of impacts to the front, back sides and edges of the phone. The case is a little tricky to remove, and that is a good thing because it won't come off by accident unless the impact forces are very high. No, it won't save your phone if you hit it full-force with a baseball bat while it's in the case. But that would not be an accident! There are other features, such as you can put the outer cover on from either direction. That may not sound like any advantage, but stay with me! If you want to go for a walk and you want to hear music while walking using the built-in speaker of your iPhone, the speaker needs to be facing out (instead of buried in a pocket). There is a spring-loaded clip (180 degrees rotatable, with 13 detented postions) that is part of the outer screen cover. So, if you want to put the phone in a shirt pocket, you can face the speaker up, and, at the same time, face the spring clip down (over the outside of the pocket). But if you want to attach the phone sideways to your belt, you can still face the speaker forward, and rotate the clip so that it goes down over your belt (with the clip on the inside of your belt... for either side (your left or your right)! Finally, it may be a slightly tight fit, but the outer screen cover can actually be put on such that the screen is exposed, yet the entire phone assembly (including the two-piece case) is all in one piece! The only drawback to that is the pull-out stand is covered in that situation, so it cannot be used. At the same time though, the clip (now to the back of the phone) can be attached to anything thin and flat enough that the clip can go over! This is, by far, the most versatile iPhone case I have seen to date; simple, elegant and packed full of so many features that it is hard to name them all ... but I have given it a try anyway!

So far, this thing rocks. Phone back: *Perfect fit for the 5c in the snap on back. *Nicely textured for grip. *Nifty kickstand (which is a bit hard to get out - but that's alright). *All controls and ports accessible. I use it a lot without the holster - sliding it into a side pocket of jeans.The back has enough texture to get a grip on it in the pocket and pull it out, while not being sticky and making it difficult. Plus it provides a bit of protection by itself. The edges of the back protrude slightly past the phone face, protecting the glass when placing the phone face down. The phone slides nicely into the holster: *Has a good, solid feeling clip. *Clip rotates only 180 degrees *The design keeps the screen away from any surfaces. *There is a fuzzy surface inside the holster anyway. The phone with back is meant and designed to go into the holster in one direction, but it will go in upside down. The controls are a little bit hindered that way (the volume and mute switch are obstructed slightly), but it is still usable. The ports and power switch are still accessible, though if you had a "fat" audio plug you might want to round out a little bit of the edge where the hole lines up with the holster. The stock bud plug works fine. It WILL go in with the phone face out if you push a little. But that way the volume/mute switches are even more obstructed. But it's do-able. For the price, this thing is great. I have another couple of slim case backs coming from Amazon - a TOTALEE scarf and a diztronic TPU, but for utility this thing may be hard to beat.

Works great. Would definitely purchase again. Phone stays in holster and clip is heavy duty. Phone Was slightly tight but after 6 -7 times in and out broke in. Definetly a good value for the price. Similar Ottebox

This is a high quality product. You can tell as soon as you touch it. The holster is handy to clip on your belt and slides in and out easily and I even go jogging with it clock to my shorts without issues. The case works just as well but it is a bit heavy mainly because of the retractable stand on the back which I have not used once so far. If there is a version without the stand, it can probably be lighter and slightly thinner on the back of the case. Completely satisfied for its quality and value. Would recommend and buy this brand of phone case again for sure. That was April 2015. Now Nov 3. The holster is now cracked on both sides where it bends and flexes each time you insert and remove from the holster. I was afraid this may happen and it did so I will contact Aduro support to see how they respond. Also they could have made the stopper at the bottom of the belt clip smother - it is very sharp and scratch your nice belt. Overall, I like it but wish it would not crack though.

This is a good protector for your iphone 5C. The shell that surrounds the phone has a nice feel, not too plastic-y but easy to hold onto. It fits very snugly and it takes a little work to get it out of the shell -- but you don't really need to do that often. The phone and shell slips in and out of the holster just easily enough - it's not going to fall out but it's relatively easy to remove it when needed. Its perfect for guys who keep their phone clipped onto a belt or the waistband of slacks. The clip does not swivel but seems very sturdy.

This amazing its hard but whit a soft touch, not heavy! Great quality! And the price is very good. Thanks

Good unit

Everything about this product is aimed to protect your phone yet give you easy access to it. The belt clip is just strong enough to have you feel safe about having it on your belt, although it can be broken off if you get it caught and use your body to yank it free. I just purchased my husband a new one to replace the one that he broke.

Price is awesome, so much cheaper than what I found in stores, love the case and belt clip. Glad I bought it and would recommend to friends!
