Daniel Smith was born in Minnesota and now resides in Bozeman, Montana where the rugged peaks of the Gallatin Range are the only things separating him from Yellowstone National Park. One of the most rewarding and inspiring elements of his work is the fieldwork, and it is the genesis of all his paintings. Smith is passionate about his subjects, his surroundings and frequent travel provide artistic inspiration. Smith has won numerous awards form the Society of Animal Artists and has been chosen Artist of the Year for several conservation organizations.

    Hey!  Where are the usual and looked forward to whimsy pieces?

I've been building so many puzzles the past few months I'm getting a lot more selective and critical. I love Pastimes whimsy puzzles. This one did not fulfill the promise of all the previous Pastimes though. I was looking for the helicopter, the guy and girl, car, guitar, tower, mallet, etc.They were not there. I don't even think there were 30 recognizable whimsys in it. Who cut the images? If this is the way they are making them now they can count me out. Very dull and uninteresting experience for me.
