Hardware Bundle for Square - Cash Drawer and Thermal Receipt Printer,[Compatible with Square Stand and Square Register]

Due to Square requiring new hardware equipment for updates, we had to buy a new hardware system. While we didn’t purchase the v2 Square Register thru Amazon or Square (found a better deal with Sam’s Club using our business membership) we did buy this compatible printer/drawer system thru Amazon. Works perfectly! Don’t worry too much about the confusing picture only instructions. It very easy to set up and pair with the new v2 Register. It simply plugs into the hub and instantly connects. Set up was so easy even for those of us who are technically challenged!

Thanks to the previous review this has been the easiest and quickest set up EVER. The cash box is nice and heavy/sturdy, the printer seems like an average printer, but functions properly. I will advise to order some printer paper along with this bundle, the sample provided is extremely small. If any wear and tear issue arise I will make sure and comment. Great buy for the price & again set up took mintues.

I’m using this with our square stand and iPad. After sleuthing through Square’s “recommended” / “compatible” list of printers, there was no way I wanted to spend $450 on just a printer. This was less than $300 shipped for both a printer AND cash drawer, and it is perfect!! Setup, from cutting the box open to having both the cash drawer and printer going was less than 15 minutes. While the instruction manual was wildly confusing (to me, at least), I fit the parts together, then used the instructions in the original Amazon listing. I used the included USB cable to wire this system to our square stand, we had zero issues with connectivity. The printer works lightning fast, our first few receipts were a bit spotty but the print quality is improving. The cash drawer opens smoothly and is spacious. I am VERY happy!!!

I use square for android, so my tablet doesn't have a USB connection. If yours is the same as mine, you WILL need a USB dongle to whatever charging port you have. After that was figured out, the drawer works smoothly and the printer was a breeze to connect. I also got this product "used" and there is no sign of wear and tear. Other small detail is that coin rolls do not fit in the slot underneath the drawer.. This isn't a huge deal to me, but may be for some. Otherwise, it's perfect and I'll be keeping this!!

I had an issue 3 weeks after receiving my printer and customer service was amazing! On the same day they had a tracking number with a replacement printer! I have been so happy with the printer and cash drawer and how easily it set up to my square terminal. Thank you so much for making my life easier!!!

Wish I would have bought this sooner. I have a square stand with my ipad 10 pro in it. It connected perfectly to this well made, beautifully finished register and printer. It makes life so much easier. The price was comparable to other brands and the size is an average register. The printer is super fast and very clear. Deffently should have bought this sooner.

UPDATE: The original issue was a software update issue. The system finally connected after 6 solid hours of troubleshooting. I received zero assistance from the seller. Since then, The printer has stopped working, not even a year after purchase! As a small business we cannot afford a replacement at this time. To say that we are less than thrilled with this equipment would be an understatement! If there were any way to give 0 stars, we would. Original post: I just received the Epson printer, and although I am waiting on the cash register, I will be returning BOTH items as this is sold as a bundle. The adverstising is false! This printer does NOT WORK with SQUARE. When I plug in the printer it states that the USB is not supported! So essentially this product is useless to me. I called Epson directly and they tried to sell me a bluetooth device so that I can connect it. Sounds like a scam to me. I then plugged the new printer into my laptop, to try and print a receipt there. The printer prints only a half page of the receipt. Once again, do not purchase this item! I assure you that you will regret it!
