These supports are simple to assemble. The steaks' ends are hexagonal so the support arm won't spin on the steak. These are the perfect height for my needs, which is to support smaller house plants. I don't think it would do well with heavy stems from a larger plant. Plus, they would be too short for larger plants. Also included are 24 little plant clips. I didn't need to use them with this plant, but it's nice to have them for future use.

Perfect size for a 4" potted plant. Great support (I have it surrounding my Persian shield, which was starting to get leggy). I have tried a few different methods of suport and like these.

They were ok for small plants. I wanted them for a big leaf plant but they didn’t support well. I crisscrossed rubber bands to help bring the leaves up. That worked although the aesthetic is not the greatest

I purchased these stakes to support my top-heavy cactus plant. Unfortunately, the stakes are not strong enough. They did work pretty well for my Aloe Vera though. See pictures. Seems like they are a good option for small, lightweight plants.

Easy to use. Offers enough support. Easy to wash and store.

The whole reason you want these, is to support taller plants which tend to lay down, but they won't work. With only one vertical support, the weight of the plant stalks/leaves will force it outward unless you push it deep into the pot, in which case only a couple of inches are available to support the plant. Then it serves no purpose. They might be fine for short shrub-like plants, but those types of plants generally don't need a support. All-in-all, a pretty worthless product.

The stakes are ok. The clips included to join the “half circles” are flimsy and useless.
