I realized I have little use for a dining room and thought about how else I could use the space. A pool table seemed a good use. My dining room is small so the 6' table was as large as made sense. I even have to use a shorter cue for maybe 1/4 of the shots. I also don't use the legs of the table. I have secured it to my ex-dining room table and have done pretty well getting it level. I doubt it ever would be as level as a slate table, but it's pretty darn good. For about $400 it is a great bargain. It is well made and looks nice. The bumpers seem to be true with the correct action and the surface is very nice. The speed seems fine. I prefer the regular size balls that come with the table. I've only been playing 9-ball so it is less crowded than with all of the balls. The sticks that come with the table are pretty light, but they are straight and seem to work fine for me. I purchased a 42" stick for the tighter shots but am much more accurate with the longer stick that came with the set. Overall I am very happy with it. COVER: I searched all over for a cover for a 6 ft table with no luck in the US. I finally found one: Peradon. I purchased from ChessworthSnooker in the UK. Nice cover, fits perfectly.
