Everything just works. Program the remote control was straight forward.

Out of town guest comes to visit. You give them your garage remote and your toll pass and they return to Two Dot, MT with both in their truck. You could wait until they get around to going into Two Dot when the post office is open and then send it via ground to save on postage, or you could a replacement delivered to your doorstep most likely by the next day. Get a step stool, hit the learn button, click the remote, and you are back in business. Great to give to a trusted neighbor to check on your hot water heater or electrical box when you go on vacation. Harder to lose or duplicate than a door key. Fun to use too.

Works perfect

I bought this remote to replace my apartment's garage opener after my dog chewed it up. It was super easy to pair and definitely cost effective. My one complaint is that you really have to hold down the button for a couple of seconds for it to work. This is not a major issue, just something that is a little annoying. I'm sure as I continue to use it I will get used to it and not care as much but it was just a small annoyance. Overall I will take holding in a button a little longer than I'm used to over the $60 my apartment would charge to replace it!

I was a little disappointed that the remote wasn’t waiting for me when I got home, but I didn’t recall seeing a promised time. I figured it would arrive later that evening. A few minutes later I heard something at the door and went to see if it was my remote. I saw a Prime truck driving away but didn’t see my remote because the driver did such an excellent job hiding it! I opened the box, read the directions and went out to my opener. I literally had it hooked up in 3 minutes! It took longer to get the stepstool out and climb up, to the opener than it did to connect the remote to my garage door! I wasn’t sure it would work because my learn button looked more pink than purple. But the other choices were colors that looked NOTHING like purple. I pushed the learn button, pushed the button on the remote and then the light quit blinking. I tried the button on the remote and then I heard the motor start going! I would say that I needed an easy button but I have the new remote! I love that it only has one button! I have one double door so I don’t need other buttons to confuse people! It comes with a clip, but I didn’t put it on because I didn’t want to put the remote on my visor. SO excited to spend $10 to make my garage a useful space ti store my new car instead of having to spend $200 plus installation on a new opening system! Of course a new opener would have an app and I probably would have picked one with a camera. But I really didn’t need that. Can’t wait to pull my car out of the garage in the morning and not have to get out of the car to close the door! Did I mention that it’s been over 8 years since I parked in the garage? Glad to be back in the garage, especially on rainy days! (And no more oak leaves or pollen on my car!)

This item is mostly a half-priced clone of the original remote and had an identical case minus the brand "LiftMaster". The radio/hotspot icon is still there, which is amusing. It works fine, but I noticed that the clone (this) device requires you to hold the button down for about 0.5 seconds whereas the original brand-name remote only requires a momentary button press. I tend to think the half-second press is actually better as it prevents accidental door openings if you have the remote in your pocket while doing yard work. I often close my garage door during yard work to prevent grass clippings from blowing in the garage. I really need a shed. Garages are for cars, not lawn equipment.

I don't want to have to wait on another replacement.

Product description says tech support is available but fails to provide ability to contact them. Programing was simple and the door opened but would not close. Reprogramed worked once then nothing. No way to contact tech support.
