Outstanding tow strap.. Super easy to use
I bought this 'just in case' one of our friends broke down on the trails. Imagine how surprised I was when my carb iced up the other night when the temps went below 0 degrees F. We were able to connect it up in less than one minute and got moving. I strongly suggest that you find one of the videos on YouTube that shows how to connect it. For us, it was well after dark and super cold and that's not the time to be looking over directions. This is a must have at a great price. I can't imagine how long we would have been stuck out in the woods before we found rope. The other safety feature about the speed of deployment is that I broke down in the middle of the trail with no lights and would have been impossible to see. An accident could easily occurred if we didn't get moving quickly. That's a very long way to say 'you really need this on every sled, you never know which is going to break down and who will be around to help.

Works well
I purchased this strap hoping never to use it. Unfortunately, my buddy's sled died on the trail and I had the opportunity to try it out. Once I figured out that you have to loop the strap around the bumper of the towing sled first and then the other end through the ski strap, it worked great. It caused no damage to either sled unlike other straps I have seen, and we were able to get the dead sled off the mountain. Would buy again.

A must have for snowmobiling
Update 4-3-14: Used this to pull a sled about 8 miles out. The bolts on the skis rubbed against the strap the entire way causing it to fray very badly. This essentially ruined the strap or at least made it untrustworthy. Would be nice if there was some sort of reinforcement or plastic sheath that could help prevent this. Downgraded to 4 stars for this. Original review: You'd be crazy not to have one of these when you go out sledding. Great quality and super easy to attach and detach. No knots required, just loop and click it. This allows you to pull from the front skis rather than from the bumper which will result in damage. Would be nice if the length was a bit longer as the guy being pulled tends to get a face full. We have used this as a tow rope to pull my son on his snowboard as well. Great product as well as a necessity. One day you'll regret not having one!

Used Twice in one weekend in the UP MIchigan. Worked Fantastic!
Years ago we had a break down and Towed a Phaser Sled accross Houghton Lake in Michigan with a Polo Sweat Shirt. Never again! Bought one of these for each of my 7 Friends and first time out we used them Twice in one weekend in the UP Michigan. High Performance Roller Bearings Failures, twice on the same sled on different days. Worked Fantastic! Bought one for each of my 7 Sledding Friends.

Beats Walking home
Have you ever had to walk 9 miles home in -20 temps through 2 feet of snow? Or had to ride home on the back of someone else's snow machine only to leave yours out on a trail somewhere? Well those days are over with this strap towing system designed for snow machines (Snow Mobiles for lower 48 cats). I have pulled out those in deep snow that got stuck, those that broke down that need a tow home. It's great and easy to use. Straps are made from a high quality nylon and are stitched very well.

My gf got stuck in a 3 ft ditch on the side of the road and to make it worse she birdied the track trying to get out
Got this two months ago and had to use it for the first time yesterday. My gf got stuck in a 3 ft ditch on the side of the road and to make it worse she birdied the track trying to get out. By the time I found her the sled was half buried. I couldn’t budge it a centimeter! Luckily the people that lived there had a small kabota and believe it or not this strap pulled out my sled. I thought for sure the strap would snap but it didn’t! Awesome material and durable!

Outstanding product!
You buy this thing hoping you'll never need it. You won't fully appreciated your purchase until this saves your trip one day! We've had to use this a few times in the past 2 years since purchasing and it worked flawlessly each time. I never leave on a sledding trip without this. It surprises me that everyone doesn't buy one. The 'skis-to-bumper' approach beats pulling from bumper-to-bumper any day. Highly recommend this for everyone who owns a sled.
