Quality glass food storage containers.
I've wanted to replace my plastic food storage containers for some time and I was delighted to see Amazon providing a range of glass storge options. Local supermarkets have, until recently, only provided plastic food storage containers. This set from Amazon is great; good sizes, good quality materials and workmanship at a very good price. The lids are easy to open and close and easy to wash. Very pleased with the set.

Nice set of glass containers.
I wanted to move away from plastic and these glass containers were exactly what I’ve been looking for. The plastic lids form a tight seal and are easy to clamp on. There’s an assortment of sizes and they can be nested to save storage space. Out of the fridge the glass (not using the plastic lid) stands microwaving for two minutes however they may be ok for a longer time. Being glass I let them cool to room temperature before washing to avoid any thermal shock (common practice).

Good Food Storage Containers
With all the hype around the dangers of microplastics and BPAs from plastic containers, I decided to make the switch to glass food storage containers... I'm so happy that I did... Like many people, I had a cupboard full of plastic containers of varying types and sizes... I've had them for years... Old takeaway containers etc... To be honest, they were a bit grim... so I recycled them all... These new glass ones can go in the microwave, oven and dishwasher... They don't stain and they are more hygienic than plastic... They are airtight and come in a variety of different (convenient) sizes... I like them... They are exceptionally good value for money... I've decided to buy a set for each of my children to set them on a 'plastic free' path too... Recommended
