I contacted Timbiz with a question and had an answer to my query the next day. The fischer grip is much more comfortable than the standard round grip. Particularly if you have issues with stiffness in your fingers. If, like me, you need the cane in order to stand-up the spring allows the cane to give putting less strain on your wrist, arm, and shoulder. The same is true when stepping off a curb. Being able to turn the cane over on the handle and have it stand upright is a tremendous convenience. Especially if there is no place to lean or hang the cane.
