I mean, I figured saying self adhesive in the title was a give away but I guess thats lost on some.. We had a tiny hole in the bottom of my best ways brand vinyl pool. No idea how it got there as it appeared a month after we set up the pool and there wasn't anything under the hole to have created it. After searching for days, I came across this product and the little video at the end that shows water spilling out of the pouch and the patching going on both the outside AND the inside without it immediately peeling off, sold me in a heart beat. I was super skeptical because my hole was at the bottom. Dirty and wet. I scrubbed it first to make sure it was as clean as it could be. I then held my breath, slapped on the patch and smoothed it out with my foot....it has not budged at all. I did cut an oval shape vs hard corners as was recommended, but it has been almost a month with extreme heat and weather, multiple heavy shock treatments, lots of use from the holiday weekend and it is still as good as the day I applied it...could not be happier...and it is a HUGE sheet of thin vinyl to contour to whatever shape you need it for.
