Fantastic Chicharrones
If you’re looking for the perfect keto snack, Lowrey's Bacon Curls Microwave Pork Rinds are hard to beat. These come out tasting super clean. nothing like the typical bagged chips loaded with extra ingredients. Just simple, crispy pork rinds with the perfect touch of salt. I microwave them for about 1 minute and 40 seconds, and they puff up perfectly every single time. Fresh, hot, and way better than anything pre-packaged sitting on a shelf. I live a keto lifestyle, and this has become my go-to treat. I go through a couple bags a week without even thinking about it. They’re also great with queso if you want to mix things up a bit. If you’re doing keto or carnivore, these are an absolute must-have. Easy 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hot, tasty and plentiful
What's not to like? Microwavable heated freshly made pork rinds? Definitely a hit. Try not to eat the whole bag because there is plenty in it once the ding of the microwave alerts you. Takes roughly 2 minutes and it's flavorful to eat and maybe share. Six in a box . Originally found it at a store but they just continued carrying the product . Easier to buy in bulk . Will buy again.

These Rinds are amazing! Must have more ASAP!
Many years ago I looked into making pork rings at home. As a child, I would help with making sausage, and smoking meat and fish. My grandparents were from the "old country" and my dad grew up on a farm plowing with a draft horse at one time. We would buy a hog from my Uncle and have it butchered by a local state inspected meat processor. Dad would have it butchered and split in two, and we would cut it up at home, wrap and freeze the meat. Dad attempted to fry some of the pork skin to make pork rinds. Of course what happened was like the hard rind you get on your fried bacon. The trick is to pressure cook the skins first, then deep fry them. The problem is that pressure cooking leaves too much water in them resulting in popping and splattering hot oil when placed in the deep fryer. A dangerous mess to be sure. Enter what I found online years ago, skins you could get ready for you to deep fry at home. I wanted to try them but never did. While looking for bulk pork finds on Amazon, because you can never have enough, I was hoping to maybe buy a 3 pound tin or something on that order, but when I discovered these that I could microwave at home and eat fresh, I ordered them immediately. Best ofcall they could arrive the same day, how about that. I followed the directions, microwave 1-2 minutes, stop when the bag stops expanding. Unlike popcorn in a bag, you can't listen for the popping to slow down, to know when to shut off the oven so I burnt the first bag. Lesson learned, I shortened the time by 15 seconds on the second bag, stopping when the bag seemed it's fullest. The result is fantastic and is my new favorite snack. I got the original version but will try the hot variety next. Probably will set up subscription for this one because making them fresh is even better than a bag from the store or machine.

A Crispy Indulgence in a Hectic World
In the bustling rhythm of modern life, where the clamor of obligations and the constant rush of hours can weigh heavily upon the spirit, Lowrey’s Bacon Curls Microwave Pork Rinds arrive as a small, savory reprieve. Each curl crackles with a satisfying crispness, releasing a smoky aroma that recalls simpler pleasures and the warmth of convivial gatherings around a well-set table. The flavor is hearty and robust, speaking directly to the senses with an immediacy that comforts the weary and delights the curious palate. Yet, no indulgence is without its minor imperfections. Some curls may vary in texture, and the richness, though pleasurable, may be overwhelming in excess. Nevertheless, the convenience and intensity of flavor render these imperfections almost negligible. Four stars for a snack that marries taste and accessibility, providing a brief, joyful escape from the weight of daily life—a humble indulgence that satisfies both hunger and spirit.

Simply Delicious
Hot out of the microwave, crackling with flavor. So much better than bagged off the shelf.

Microwavable Pork rinds
They really taste good, but you have to make sure you watch when they’re cooking in the microwave. The bag catches on fire, almost every time.

Inconsistent cooking times and burns easily
It says to heat in microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. It is easy to burn and when it does it stinks terribly and takes a while to clear from a room. I tried lowering the time to microwave them, but even just a minute burned. I am not sure if it is just because the bag is designed poorly, but it seems like some of the chicharrones stick to the bag and then burn and this last time it was not even a full minute. The bag did not even expand in the microwave and smoke was come out from the sides. This tells me it is a poor quality bag and instead of expanding with the gas inside it stays flat and the chicharrones burn. I have made a few of these. Cooking times seem to be inconsistent in these bags and unlike microwave popcorn, you cannot hear the popping and the pops slow down. -1st try: Was not sure of time and even though the bag expanded half the chicharrones were burned inside. Stinky| -2nd try: I lowered the time to 1:30 the bag just barely expanded in that time and still most of them were burned and -I had to throw that bag as well. Still very stinky. -3rd try: I lowered the time to 1 minute, bag did not expand so I added about 20 seconds and bag expanded and this time finally most of them were fine, but there were still some burnt ones and some that were rock hard. -4th try: I set the time for 1 minute again and I noticed that even though the bag did not expand, smoke was coming out the side. I opened it up and sure enough that horrible burnt smell, the bag never expanded and as I said that was only about 58 seconds. I will not be buying these again or recommending. I might as well just by them in the chip section and that would not need microwaving. That is too bad, I was looking forward to hot chicharrones. Im not sure what I will do with the rest of this pack. But out of 4 tries, I was only able to eat one bag and even that had some burnt ones and hard ones. That one bag took about 1:20 seconds, but this last bag was only 58 seconds and burned and never expanded. That inconsistency and the fact I only got to eat 1 out of 4 bags, the other 3 had to be thrown and I had to deal with a disgusting burnt smell for hours, even with windows open and febreezing.

Tasty but too salty and not crunchy enough
Very tasty but too salty and not enough crunch. The directions were easy to follow and the price was good. I can deal with the salt if needed but I must have crunch with my pork rinds.
