You can also use hooks or push pins through the tiny holes in the rod pocket. **Q: Can it be cut shorter?** A: They sure can be cut, I have about about 12 hanging up around my house, and I have trimmed the bottoms of 8 of them as they hung way to long in my window seals, have a good pair of scissors, and don't rush. In case you are wondering no the bottoms don't even look like I have cut them. **Q: Are they washable?** A: I haven’t washed mine but In my opinion, no. They feel too delicate to put in the washer. I would hand wash them. **Q: Are they rod pocket? Can they be shirred to accomodate different widths?** A: No rod pocket.
