I use M Graham tubes of watercolor and wanted to make a small travel paint box out of a small metal box. I glued magnetic tape to the bottom of each half-pan, filled in my paint, let them settle and dry out a bit. Then I popped them into my tin. I am able to fit 10 half-pans in two rows, leaving a space for a small water brush in the middle (or I could add another row of paints.) Edited to add: I just bought another set of these; they work very well with the magnetic tape on the bottom. I have a couple of small tins now with different color selections. I vary which set I take with me when I am out and about. Using the magnets on the bottom of the pans makes it easy to swap around the color selections if desired. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ they're just perfect.
