if you're looking for something to store an entire bag of food, this would not be the item for you. If you're looking for something to keep a day or two's worth of food in a cute container this is the item for you. It does seal shots, so the food does not get stale I really like it. Glad I bought it. It has a little scoop that hangs from the side and it does hold probably 8 to 10 cups of food.

I'm so glad that I decided to spend the money on this dogfood container for my little cavapoo! It's just the right size to almost fit an entire 6 lb. bag of puppy chow inside and keeps the food fresh with a very tight seal on the container lid. I love the scoop that hangs from the side as it's just the right amount for her 2 feedings a day (1/2 cup), and it looks really good on my countertop. It's more than I would normally spend, but I'm glad that I decided to buy it!

Make sure you look at the dimensions. I ordered & did not lay any attention. I have a 135 pound dog so this came in and my boyfriend was like “okay your done ordering from Amazon” lol!!!! It is super cute and good quality but we will be giving it away because my dog could eat one serving just out of the container lol. It is more like a dog bowl, not a dog food storage container

The size is better for treats, it's a bit small for dog food. I use it for a small bag of food but it still doesn't fit all of it. But it's really cute, so if you don't mind storing the rest of the food in the original bag in a cabinet or somewhere, it might be right for you. Or you could use it for treats. I turned it around because the image is of a cat and we keep dog treats in it. lol

It’s really cute and holds quite a bit of food if you have small dogs. Keeps the food fresh. This was my second one (my fur babies have to eat different food). Would buy again!

I used to keep my dogs food in the bags and when I saw this I had to have it and 2 of them. I have 2 old dogs and 2 young dogs so they eat different food and these bins are great. The lids hold tight to keep the food fresh and the scoop is perfect size for feeding. I totally recommend this food storage.

Well, I did not want to pay this money for a "dog food container"!, but after scooping from the bag all the time I am glad I did. Our terrier eats food with small pieces and the bag is 4.8# I think which fills the container. The scoop is great. The lid is not really "air tight" but it is on tight enough that I need to pull it a little so that's good enough for me. Glad we bought it. Our dog is getting old so appetite is decreasing and things were loosing flavor in the bag. Bought the black one and really like the looks.

This storage box is amazing for small dog food. It is great for dry food and it hides well in corners or under cabinets.
