Review: I was very excited to find these. I was mounting a TV on the wall and was planning on routing the cables behind the wall, but didn’t want to have a bulky surge protector plugged in to the outlet. This device allowed me to plug it in directly behind the TV where it’s out of sight and protecting my electronic from electrical surges. It is thick enough to feel that it’s a solid device, but thin enough to fit and look flush against your outlet. I don’t like bulky. In addition, one of the best features about it is, that you can turn each individual outlet which makes it easier for you to plug in multiple things at once. I could not use the screw that came with it because my outlets are rounded and the screw wasn’t long enough. If I want to use the screw to secure it to the outlet, I would have to change them to the square electrical outlets. Of course you can buy longer screws as this might be less expensive and time consuming. I purchased two of these and I really don’t think they have to be secured. They fit nice and snug and look neat against the wall. Love them. Hope they do their job well!
