## Description

Product Description TicWatch E3 SPECS

Review: Incredible Features, Looks Really Good and Unbelievable Value for Money. - I can give this review on the basis of a lot of experience I have with smart watches. I have a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro, which is usually my go to sports/exercise watch. My Garmin is a fantastic watch, although very expensive. However I felt that the features I get from it, required me to pay the high price tag. That was until I found this E3 Smartwatch from Mobvoi! In brief, the Mobvoi Ticwatch E3 is a fantastic all rounder at a really good price. Here are the main reasons I would highly recommend it; The price: This has to be the top reason - the number of features you get with this watch far exceeds the cost when compared to other smart watches. I really was surprised that you can get a watch that pretty much does it all, for such an amazing price. I bought it for £175 and I've even seen it cheaper on a Deal Price. I simply cannot find a smart watch on desertcart that is better value for money when considering the features. The looks: I mainly bought this watch as a day-to-day work horse. I love my Garmin, but that is for sports and I wanted another watch that was just looked good. The photos on desertcart don't do the watch justice. It looks really good on the wrist. It is light, so nice to wear all day long. You can change the strap too very easily. The screen is so good, even when it's in battery saver mode, so on the wrist it just always looks good! The battery life: A huge selling point of this watch is the very good battery life. My biggest issue with smart watches is that I hate it when the battery doesn't last. This was a big reason I chose this watch and it didn't disappoint. If you use the battery saver, you can even get upto 3 days, if you go for essential mode it will last I think weeks! Let's just say, I've never had it run out on essential mode. It's just not something you need to worry about on this watch. The always on: I also like my smart watches to be on, even when I'm not looking at them. I don't really like having to always raise my wrist or touch the screen to turn a watch on, sometimes I just want to glance over at it on my wrist and see the time. I also like it to look like a real watch to other people, not just a black screen. With the Ticwatch, the battery is so incredibly good because of their screen technology, I can easily have the always on display without worrying about battery. You can use it for any sport: I primarily choose a smart watch for sports. As I said, I have a Garmin for this, so didn't buy this watch for that purpose, but more as a general watch day to day. What surprised me was how good this watch is for sport. It has an app for pretty much anything and tracks it very well. I love the fact that it's waterproof and able to track my swimming. Make Payments: I love being able to leave my wallet at home and just use my watch. It syncs easily to your Google account and you can pay for things contactless, just like a card. It's easy to set up, and easy to use. Health features: I love the continuous heart rate monitoring and stress management. It's constantly checking you and again, you don't have to worry about battery. It's very useful to know this data to see how healthy you are and what you can do about it. Fast & easy to use: The watch is responsive and fast. The screen is clear and bright. Everything else: There's not really anything not to like about this watch. It's amazing what you get for your money. You can install any apps you want from Google Wear, including new watch faces. There's even apps testing your hearing, washing your hands reminders, and you can take calls through your phone, on the watch. It does pretty much everything and looks good too. I recommend this watch very highly. It is an amazing all-rounder. It does it all, with a good battery and looks great too. The price for this quality of watch is superb.
Review: Hands down, the worst Tech purchase I've ever made. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE! Returning. - Written by someone who has conducted HOURS AND HOURS of research... UPDATE 22/3/2022: I am writing a review for a second watch that I received to replace the original, faulty one. After weeks of trying to get by with watch no.1, it took over with a mind of it's own: switching on and off in the middle of the night, screens switching when I was not touching it etc. to a point where I was concerned about security. desertcart were great and processed the return and replacement. Tick. Watch no.2: I always had my suspicions re: the step tracking and today my wife and I carried out a test. She wore her Fitbit Charge 4 AND my Ticwatch E3 to do exactly the same exercise. The results were unbelievable. At best, my Ticwatch was within 100 steps of the Fitbit. I'd take that, give and take a small %age. However, throughout the day, with little or NO movement, by Ticwatch E3 would be anything between 25% and 33% out. Now, one could argue it is the Fitbit charge that is odd. Why would the Ticwatch E3 by massively over stating my steps? Who knows. But I carried out an experiment on my own this evening whilst walking to my bathroom and emptying the dishwasher. Approx 100-150 steps. Call it 200 to be overly optimistic. My Ticwatch E3 stat: 1,151 steps. Significantly over calling it. Bought a Galaxy Watch4 after returning this....night and day! Original review: Overall, I think the product is average... Looks really smart, great interface and really responsive. Strava tracking is fantastic as is the ability to go phone free for runs. Disappointed in the battery life. For something with such great functionality, I'd have expected better battery life considerations. Also, I find that every day, at least once, it freezes. Something that is really frustrating that has been logged by myself and hundreds of Wear OS users is the constant ask to disconnect and re-pair your phone. It is on my notifications 90% of the day (see pic that was taken as I write this review). The first time I actioned the request, it factory reset my watch and it took me all evening to reset. Very frustrating. Now I just leave it and have to ignore the notification. There appears to be no fix by Google, so be aware. There are too many apps doing the same thing though so really hard to simplify and consolidate what you do with one app/ one set of apps. E.g. the watch has several tic apps like tic sleep, tic health, tic exercise etc. All of which do the same as Google and it is annoying that you have to choose which to use and leave one set of apps redundant. Surely it could be simpler to have just Google fit or tic. Update 8/3/2022: Watch constantly doesn't connect to show location. Everyday for the last 8 days my watch restarts randomly: in the day, on runs, in the middle of the night. I no longer wear it in bed. Looking at returning. Very disappointed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great watch. Setup process is nightmarish but with happy ending.
*by A***1 on 27 June 2025*

This is the best budget watch running wearos. The Snapdragon processor does mean it snappy and not laggy. Battery is good for full day at least, under stress. However be warned, the setup process was riddled with issues after issues. Red band of death, connectivity issues. You write a novel on the steps taken to get it to work. But once you do. Finally fully updated running everything you can throw it, it's a real diamond. But you will need to be brave and strong to try. Four stars only because of the final result. Would have been five for not the atrocious setup process.
