Great line, soft and very strong.

Good value for some braided fishing line! No stretching in the line when pulled tight. I posted some vids and pics. Colors vibrant, matches listing. seems to have good knot strength. Cant speak for smoothness of casting or abrasion resistance since i just got the line spooled but so far seems pretty good. Its not some of the most premium braid ive had before but for the price you cant beat it. Overall outlook on the product: Great, would buy again. I uploaded some photos and video. Quality: Appears to be solidly made. This is a day one unboxing review so i cant speak to longevity of the product but from initial review there are no problems noted. Goes on the reel well, no flaws that I saw in the line. Casts well, works great. Have not had it break or fray like some expensive lines I have bought. I have used this to replace a couple of spools of expensive braided line that frayed too easy. I lost a LARGE Striped Bass due to an expensive braid breaking at the knot the first time used trolling. I was using the same brand braid pan fishing on another rod and reel and believe it or not - it frayed thru (possibly an oyster shell scrape) when I was bottom fishing and lost some croaker (30 pound braid should not fail for bottom fishing). Needless to say, that expensive line was taken off ALL my reels immediately. Well, I can say that this line has not frayed thru, the knots hold, and the fish get into the box. I have been fishing many years and have over 30 rods and reels (trolling, bottom, crank bait, metals, heavy, light, ultra light, jigging,...). I used this on four rods initially and had no problems. Some braids have been great, some costly braids have been nightmares (the advertising would make one believe they are great and the fish just jump into the boat, but they fray and fail easily). I had the store spool my trolling reel with some recommended braid, it failed the first time used, breaking at the knot just when I got a nice sized fish along the side of the boat. I really like getting the fish into the box, especially after some great fighting. After more than a year the KastKing line still works great. Had to cut off the end where I saw some frays after a year, but it did not break (casting around a target ship with a lot of sharp metal and lots of snags made some frays, but no failures). Still casts well and gets the fish into the box. Upgraded it to 5 stars. Aug 2015 - I have this line on a few more rods now. There have been no failures, no broken lines, and knots have all held. Caught some good sized Striped Bass, Red Drum, Blues, and other fish. Not one failure. I do trim off the line end if I see some abrasion. This is a great line for the money. 2017 update - still using KastKing braid on about half my rods. Works well with no issues for intended use. Got the fish into the boat. Trimming off any rough spots and getting ready for spring. Sometimes I wish it work better and get a bigger fish, but that is probably my issue. 2021 update - This was on my traveling rod. Took to Florida and did some fishing. No issues. Also used the KastKing leader with the FG knot. Flawless. Not much fishing in 2020 with the COVID shutdown. Looking forward to getting back on the water.

I have used a LOT of braided line in my time and this is some of the best on the market in strength, diameter and color retention. The red in particular stays red. A must try for the price!!!

If you are looking for or want to try braided fishing line, this is a great one to start with. This is my first and absolutely great, honestly improved casting distance and smoothness.

Got it imported and paid 3400/- for 10 lb braided line from kastking. Product quality is superb. It's very thin and strong but have clear doubts: 1. Is it actually 300 meters which it should be? Probably there is only 200 metre max. 2. It is strong but you can cut it so easily with scissors whereas local braids, though thicker, puts more resistance against scissors or blades. Now a practical question for myself as well as other potential anglers wishing to import some good braid: Is it worthy to pay that much? Probably not, especially when you can get them from some Indian shops at half the price. I thought the Indian shops might sell cheap Chinese copies so I bought it from Amazon via importers. Final words: if the spool was actually 300 metres, I wouldn't be dissatisfied but now I am grumbling,😁
