## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am using a Foscam that has infrared for night use. It is aimed through a glass window and the glare is a problem.  Will this solve that?**
A: Ignore the previous response, you don't need a circular polarizer. Yes THIS is what you need to cut reflection from inside the glass.

**Q: has anyone tried holding one of these filters in front of a point and shoot digital camera?  I'm trying to filter out glare from acrylic paint.**
A: I tried using mine in front of a CCTV camera to reduce glare from fluorescent bulbs. Didn't work. The lens is polorized fine, just didn't work for my application.

**Q: are these transparent or tinted?**
A: They are tinted and polarized. Like polarized sunglasses. 

BTW…you only get one filter per order, not the bundle the picture shows.

**Q: will this film stop a scanning device from seeing something the eyes see?**
A: A scanner should see what your eyes see, unless the scanner's light source is an LED.  All LEDs emit polarized light.  A polarizing filter will then block out all light except when aligned with the LED's polarization.  You will need to check your scanner specs to answer your question.
