This camera is amazing for the money! I’ve had more high end cameras that are poor quality, poor app usage and don’t pick up on movement. This one is great and just what I needed. The app is easy to use, there is a small monthly subscription which gives you full access to the app wherever you are. Let’s you watch footage back up to 30 days and save to camera roll. It is really simple to set up and the video quality is great! Highly recommend wouldn’t get any other now and friends and family have took my advice and love it too!

This is my second TAPO camera and I love it. I already have the indoor one for Delta (My dog) , so I ordered this for outdoors and it’s brilliant. The picture is really clear, the sound is great, and it’s so easy to set up and use. It’s downloaded to my phone so I can see who comes to my door, and if Delta is playing in the front garden I can watch him and even talk to him through it. You can change the angle from your phone too, which is really handy. A great product and really good value for money.

I now have several of these cameras installed around my home and have been using my first one for over a year. Over time, I’ve gradually expanded the system because of how reliable and easy they are to use. Installation is very straightforward. Simply mount the camera on the wall, plug it in, insert a microSD card, and set it up through the app. The process only takes a few minutes, even for someone with minimal technical experience. The image quality is very good, both during the day and at night. The night vision is clear and provides enough detail to easily identify people and movement around the property. Motion detection is one of the best features. Alerts are fast and reliable, although in some situations they can be slightly oversensitive. For example, I have one camera mounted near my boiler outlet, and steam from the vent regularly triggers motion alerts. However, this can be adjusted within the app settings if needed. The two-way audio is also very useful. I’ve used it to speak to delivery drivers and even to control my dog remotely when I’m elsewhere in the house. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to use a microSD card for local storage, which avoids any monthly fees. Cloud storage is available as an optional subscription, but it’s not necessary for normal use. After over a year of continuous operation, the cameras have remained reliable with no faults or drop in performance. I love tapo cameras. They’re incredibly easy and quick to set up. Good value and have no monthly subscription. The app is quick and shows the feed almost immediately and the image quality is great.

Excellent camera, easy to set up and adjust sensitivity to what it picks up. The picture quality is excellent. It records in 15-20 second bursts so if something is going on for a lot longer you get several recordings. I also bought a window mount but didn’t realise it won’t work in the dark when placed in a window as the infrared lights reflect in the glass so you can’t really see anything except the camera looking at itself. Despite this I still give this 5 stars as it’s a great camera.

Very impressed with this camera first time using this brand and will defo use again when upgrading. Easy setup simple to use and great features with their app. Picture is very clear and sharp not so when you zoom in but that was expected with the 3mp but using for indoor use so not needing zoom if was for outdoor would get a better mp camera but defo recommend.

Person detection helps filter out unnecessary alerts, and notifications arrive quickly. 📱 App Experience Setup was quick — scan, connect, and it was ready to go. The Tapo app makes it easy to check live view, review recordings, and adjust sensitivity. If you already use Tapo gear, it fits right into the ecosystem. 🌧️ Build & Placement Even though mine is installed in a sheltered porch, the camera feels solid and weather‑ready. The mount allows for precise angling, which is ideal for front‑door placement where you want to capture faces rather than just the top of someone’s head. 🔊 Audio Two‑way audio is clear enough for quick conversations with delivery drivers or visitors. The image quality is excellent, the night vision is genuinely useful, and the motion detection is reliable without being annoying. For a small, affordable outdoor camera, it’s a fantastic choice — especially for front‑door monitoring.

I love this camera so much, its small but powerful. Ive had mine around 6 months now and i have no complaints, the vidoe and sound quality is good, the memory is good. I have a sd card in mine which holds more film before it records over itself. With it being a plug you dont have to keep charging it. One thing i love about this camera is that you can set it so that when you are in the house the camera is not recording and when you leave the house it turns on. This is a function i set up immediately and its never failed me. For the price i couldnt recommend this enough, i now have a couple of other tapo products which are all controlled on my phone. So easy to use. Only downside is it can catch shadows and set off notifications but id rather that then it not work. It has a built in alarm that is really loud ( you can turn this off ) so if an intruder was in your home it will loudly alert them. You can also speak through the camera simular to a ring doorbell.

Funciona bem, qualidade do vídeo é boa tem a opção de gravar na nuvem. Até o momento sem pontos negativos.

I cannot say enough good things about Tapo cameras. They react to every movement cue, adjustable for your needs, and have not missed any crucial moments yet. They also link to my Echo devices so, when anything happens, the entire house screams bloody murder. Love these things.

I have these on a second level windowsill looking out. Surprised how well they pick up movement and people. It records up to 3 minutes of video at a time. Longer clips are broken up into 3 minute sections. The only thing if you want to use for outside recording you can't use night mode because the infrared light just bounces off the window blinding the camera. This is ok for me because day mode still works decently since my outdoors is well lit. App is easy to use and I can set up multiple cameras on one app. I use a micro SD card to keep the videos and I can dowload specific clips to my phone. You can even take screenshots of your Live video or recorded clips of you want a still photo. You can even add a black privacy bar to prevent recording certain areas for privacy reasons. Would definitely recommend
