She was always running low on power around the park. This gage seems to work pretty well. When it gets to about half scale, she knows its time to charge -no more guessing. Pretty easy to install. just cut a hole and stabbed it in. Enough wire included to reach the battery box.

This is a great kit that includes everything you need for installation. Maybe a bit overpriced, but to me it was worth not having to go out and by all of the hardware separately. My only knock is that it would have been better if the crimps were not preinstalled on the wires. I only needed a tiny hole to feed the wires through at my dash. Running the wire through the hole with the crimps already on them would have required a much larger hole. I simply cut them off then put on new ones, which I had to purchase separately. Kind of defeated the all-in-one kit solution and added more cost in the end.

Bought this for a club car. Works great.

Update! I changed my rating on this item. The problem was loose wiring, which was user error, lol. I’ve only had it for a little over a year and it worked great until a few weeks ago. Now the needle is stuck on fully charged, even when the meter is disconnected from the batteries.

This was replacing pretty much the exact thing on an electric boat. Waterproof was important. It wasn’t even dew resistant, so we don’t get it wet. One of the wires broke as soon as it was removed from the package. It’s just adequate to track basic battery life.

Works great in my ezgo. Did not have to use the mounting bracket but it was nice to have that option. Cables were plenty long enough also. I will say that I didn't realize that the key plate was going to be such a pain to cut but I finally got it close enough to work (hint: get the right Dremel bit!). Overall, very happy even though I don't understand why the 36v was more expensive than the 48v. I was tempted to make my own cables but I was running out of wire and this was very convenient and fairly cheap. Good deal.

Gauge came with all wiring and mounting bracket. Exactly what we needed and works great on our 36V ezgo go cart.
