We have opened two bottles and it is more than enough for the front of 7 base cabinets and 6 drawers. I have 11 uppers to do and don’t think I’ll need to open the third bottle…but I won’t know for a couple weeks or more. Need to finish the bottoms AND paint them before I get to the upper cabinets. **Q: Can you stain the furniture after using this?** A: No. It doesn't budge the old finish any more than water would. This is a totally useless product. **Q: Will this product prepare a vinyl coted garage door for painting?** A: It doesn't prepare anything for painting. **Q: Had anybody used this on paneling before painting? If so does it work well, and do you need anything else to apply after this before paint?** A: Although I haven’t used this on wall paneling, I do paint furniture with all kinds of finishes. This product does a great job in finely scruffing the surface before painting. I always make sure to rinse well. In order tonsee the best results, I checked a few YouTube videos. The best reco was to use green brillo pads for application. This ends up requiring a lot of elbow grease and for the amount of time/effort spent, you might be better off sanding anyway.
