Nature's Answer Rhodiola Root Vegetarian Capsules, 60-Count

I love this brand! I have tried others but did not receive the mood uplifting results as with this brand. I have been taking this brand, just 1 capsule after my morning coffee, 5-6 days a week for 3 years. It always brings my mood up and keeps me happy and energetic til late in the afternoon. It helps my concentration at work as well. I have never taken prescription antidepressant but I feel this works well for me as a natural alternative during menopause.

I have been using this along with Eleuthero for the past few weeks. I am hypothyroid and have back/neck/knee issues that prevent me from getting as much exercise as I would like. I have been trying to diet since before Christmas and have lost 20 pounds. To do this I have had to eat below 1350 calories a day. This has meant that I feel hungry constantly. I have noticed that I don't feel as hungry since taking the Rhodiola/Eleuthero combo. In addition I have not been watching my diet too closely for the past couple of weeks because I was so sick of starving all the time. I was afraid to step on the scale, but much to my surprise I was actually a couple of pounds lighter than the last time I stepped on it. I have also noticed an improvement in my energy. Nothing like before my thyroid decided to fail me, but I do feel much better. On a side note because if my medication I have chronic constipation, but these capsules have also helped with that. I started out with the smallest bottles of each, but today I am ordering the largest of both. I would highly recommend that you give them a try.

Too stimulating

I started taking Rhodiola because I I heard great things about it, and I can not take, nor do I like to take, SSRIs due to the side effects. I thought this would be a great alternative. Well, I could definitely feel a difference using this stuff. More energy, felt great, and then the dizziness kicked in. Apparently, Rhodiola can cause dizziness. I only took one a day, so I must just be sensitive to it. I'm not talking about a little dizzy either, it was loss of balance dizzy. It stopped the next day when I stopped taking this. Bummer, because I had high hopes for it.

i thought i would have seen results by now. i can't say that it worked for me so i cant say it is effective.
