Is it possible mines broken?? There's a grey piece of plastic stuck in the squeegee head.. like where it would make sense for the pole to screw into..

When assembling this squeegee, the first thing you should do is drill out or otherwise remove that grey piece of plastic in the head. After doing that, it will expose the threads onto which you screw the plastic threaded pole. Have no idea why that plastic piece was placed in the head

Does anyone have the upgraded one? Is it sturdier? A lot of reviewers said theirs metal kept breaking.

I don't know if I have the upgraded version but mine hasn't broken yet and I use it every day.

The length is very short. Can we order more metal pieces to make it longer? Would only need one.
