I am a security guard with a pulse taser
In my opinion, this thing exists — and I respect that. It showed up, did the job, didn’t explode, and hasn’t insulted my family (yet). Is it perfect? No. But neither am I, and we’re both still here. Would I buy it again? Probably — unless I ascend to a higher plane of existence first.

Great replacement battery for the taser pulse
works great, fits the taser pulse perfectly. Needs a little effort to close the battery compartment once installed but is a great fit. Does not rattle around in the grip like the factory battery did.

battery life
I see a lot of reviews complaining about the short lifespan of the batteries. When I cut open the housing my dead batteries there were in fact Lithium 3 volt Duracell. I am not happy about the 2 year life time either. However, and I am guessing , the reason for the short lifetime is probably due to the batteries keeping the capacitors charged up even when it is turned off. Why would they design it this way? Because when you need to pull the trigger you need instant power. Once you accept this you can see how they can precisely tell you how long the batteries should last = 2 years. And they say the two $70 cartridges last 5 years which means that the Pulse cost approximately $2.20 a month to maintain
