Spray onto the blade or bit before mounting, let it dry and buff lightly. Then mount it on the tool. Be sure any built up wood residue is removed first.

I have used this brand in the past and it was more durable and longer lasting than the other brands I have Tried. I haven't yet tried this last lot to see if it is the same as I bought before or if it has been changed.
