OMGOSH, my husband is obsessed with this fryer! He and I put it together fairly quickly and bonus-not one single “discussion”. The instructions were easy to follow (for me anyway, men don’t use them!) This fryer is the perfect size. He couldn’t wait to have some friends over for a fish fry. Works great, couldn’t be happier. Got this as a supplement to an RV 3 basket fryer. Being a metal fabricator, it uses much lighter/thinner materials for the deep part of it. BeingthatI alsowork with a lot of engineers most of my life, I can also see where some improvements could be made. But I got this one for cooking home made hushpuppies for the most part. The hushpuppies require a lower temp than the fish I cook in my big fryer. And this fit the bill perfectly since it runs at a lower temp. I expect the stainless to last a good while
