GPAA Tom & Perry Clean Up Kit

Used one for years and had good service. The last one I bought was a Christmas gift for my son. Have adapted it with a house filter and fountain pump and made a recirculating system for home use. I use it as my hobby in the winter in my kitchen. The improvmens you made since I bought mine are great. As you can see iin the picture, there is a smaller sand catching tup in the bottom of the large one. It takes 7 to 8 gallons of water to set up and only add water for evaporation when needed. All fittings for the pump and filter are stepped down to 3/8 of an inch which is the size of the fountain pump outlet. I use two heaping table spoons of sand at a time after sifting the sand so thats all I’m working with. I have profitted nicely by getting all the small stuff. Notice the magnifying glass above the sluice. I also use jewelers tweezers which are better suited for the very fine grains. I’m An old guy coming into my mid eightis and still enjoy sluiceing. Hope this is good info for you. The sluice can be taken anywhere, any time, and in any environment witt minimum water and electricity. Can even be hooked up to a small solar panel for use in the desert, which I have.

The sluth is a plastic section of rain gutter. I expected something more durable and long lasting.

This kit is made very well.. I would recommend it.. And the pans are extremely heavy duty with a wide bottom surface.. I ordered the two-piece kit 1st and when I received it I ordered the family kit..
