Meh.... it works. **Revised : No, it doesn't.
*** Lowered my expectations even more. After a day and a half running, it started beeping, I found that it restarts, goes to a black screen with a mouse arrow on it, then shuts down, beeps, and does it again. Rechecked all connections internally and externally, replaced the power supply, swapped the drive, and tried doing a reset. Dead. Complete junk, and the return period is expired. I have 5 different "economy" DVRs that have been running for years with no issues. This is the first, and LAST, Zosi DVR I'll purchase. Like I said, their cameras aren't bad - shame the same thing can't be said about the DVR. (Original Review) Not bad, but has options in menus that don't have the correct ports or connections to use - OS is flaky, mouse interface function is pretty weak, and setting it up is a bit of a challenge because of it. Another personal point of irritation is all the cameras have a "ZOSI" watermark on them that can't be removed or switched off - I already bought it, I don't need to see it on there advertising. Does it work? Yeah, so far. Are there better options for similar cost - absolutely. May want to pass on this one... shame too - I like their cameras, but the DVR is a bit disappointing.

Easiest setup ever!
Easiest setup ever! Having set up older DVRs, I found this one's automated process to be outstanding. A little confusion caused by their directions and wording on establishing the internet connection was the only problem. Once I figured out what they meant it was easy to complete. This DVR allows me to use my legacy H264 cameras and add H265 upgrades as needed. Although it does not come with a remote control, I added a wireless USB mouse which solves that problem perfectly. They could improve their product and customer satisfaction by replacing the included wired mouse, with a wireless USB mouse.
