Is it plastic?** A: Yes, it's plastic, but very smooth and flexible (also swivels). To get the "curls" out, you can dunk it in hot water, and then stretch it straight and run it under cold water immediately after the hot water dunk. They say buy once, cry once for a reason! This set is very high quality and a huge upgrade to the $40 one I bought first. The screw-in attachment points are very smooth and do not come loose. The cables swivel, which is my preference. This set comes with more sizes than the $40 one I purchased first.
