Under Armour Replacement Rise Lid Black

The original lids for these Under Armour vacuum bottles were very fragile. While they sealed well and were easy to use, they broke very easily. I replaced them many times with the same fragile lids, which broke again. Finally, these lids, which use a different design, became available. They seem to have eliminated the problems inherent in the original design. This new design seals well and appears to be less susceptible to cracking, which was the downfall of the original design. Time will tell, but I like the new lid. It is not quite as easy to carry as the original lid because it is slightly more difficult to unleash the carrying ring, but that is a minor complaint. The sealing mechanism is sturdy and does not leak. That is the most important feature, in my opinion.

It fits some of their older water bottles! I've had this bottle for about 10 years and the previous cap (clear white plastic cap on top part) kept getting nasty mold on the clear rubber part (not the best design), although to be fair I didn't clean it as regularly as I should. Anyway this new cap is a better design (will still break if this thing takes a fall the wrong way), but it functions better and has better water flow. The folding carry hook is also an improvement in the design. The only con, which is due to my older bottle, is that the front of the cap doesn't line up with the front of the bottle, but who cares... Bonus points for the cap looking like a cool Sci Fi warrior helmet! 5 stars

Good solid replacement cap. Does not release with a spring like movement and requires physically opening which might requie two hands.

Don’t buy this. I replaced an old style of lid with this one for an under armor water bottle I had for years. The quality of these lids has gone downhill significantly. While it does fit, it’s has many problems. First the seal will occasionally come loose when you screw on the lid, leading to the bottle leaking until you reset the seal. Then, the spring broke, making it not pop open on its own like it’s supposed to. Finally, the latch broke, making the lid worthless. I decided to buy a different water bottle, and Amazon wouldn’t refund the cot of this lid (it lasted 6 months) because it was “outside the return window”.

Been using the Under Armour bottles for at least 10 years and only need to replace because the outside gets worn and tired. Recently, the lids are not of the same quality as in the beginning and crack or springs/connections break. I ordered this lid as a "backup" just for a reserve lid. Sure enough the very first time I used on a trip, the plastic lid cracked therefore does not keep my water cold! Very disappointed in the quality and already on the hunt for a new brand!

Bought this as a replacement for my Under Armor Dominant water bottles. It does fit and is easier to remove the o-ring for cleaning than previous models. A little more difficult to remove the top seal compared to previous models though. Compared to the previous version the carrying ring is a little easier on the fingers but not as nice as the original. It fits the bottle and does not leak so at least. However I have two big complaints about this product. 1) I've had this cap for just over a month and rarely carry it by the carrying handle. The other day I was carrying it and it just snapped causing the bottle to fall on the ground!! 😡 I was not swinging it around, I do not have a dishwasher that might have caused a degration of the plastic, and my original caps carrying handles are still functioning even though some of those are 8 years old. 2) in addition pressing the button to open the cap does NOT work well. It seems like it has a lack of spring on the cap and seems like it gets a vapor lock preventing the top from opening. This makes it exceptionally difficult for one-handed operation. It's not a matter of just nudging the top you have to have the button pushed in at the same time which is difficult to do one handed. If you just need something to replace the top to keep it from leaking and you don't mind not using the carrying handle or needing two hands to get the top to open then it's probably okay. I am very disappointed in the apparent downgrade in the lids over the course of the life of my bottle. Just an FYI as I was typing I saw the AI capturing parts of my review and it listed as a five-star ease of opening. 🤨 Do not trust AI.

Perfect replacement for the top that I broke. It is an UnderArmour bottle and the Beyond model. This top is better built and allows me to keep using the metal bottle. Price was reasonable as well. Would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

Melhor que o modelo anterior da Under Harmour. Encaixes perfeitos e parece ser mais robusta, tanto que comprei outra para ter como reserva. O preço está muito bom também.

After breaking the lid of my old bottle (as I have done for the previous two or three!) I gave this a go - the thread size fits perfectly. So now I have a perfectly good bottle that’s useable again. The lid feels more robust too.
