KIND Bars, Fruit & Nut, Fruit & Nut, 12 Count (Pack of 12)

So, there must be some mommies out there like me who buy these bars for kids but won't eat them yourselves? You pop them in the lunch box together with the fruit in the bid to get them to stay off the junk food in school? Most of the time, these bars turn out to be a complete waste cos the kids will tell you that they are the worst thing ever. And you are wracked with guilt thinking you've scarred them for life. But then, you do it again anyway. And so, one day, I tried 1 of these bars and when I asked how it was - the answer surprised me. "They're delicious, Mom. Really yummy" I was stunned. A nut bar that passes the test. I'm so glad there's Amazon. I bought 2 packs - one fruit and nut and another variety pack. She loves all that she's tried so far. Out of curiosity, I took a couple to the office. One day, in hunger, I finally opened one. And Oh. I. see. They're good. Really good. They're crunchy without being hard, a little sticky without being too sweet, a good mix of textures without them sticking to the space between your teeth. And at the end of the bar, you feel something in your tummy. Not full exactly but at least it does the job to stave off the hunger pangs. I'm now looking at other flavours to buy because this is going to be the Snack Of Choice 2012 for this household at least!

Great snack and good for you too. Taste is excellent not too sweet just right

If you like the convenience of a pretty healthy snack on the go, then this bar from Kind had decent ingredients and nutritional stats. Sure, 200 calories are a lot to take in as a snack, so perhaps you might want this to substitute as part of a meal (or make sure that you're burning more calories that day). Sugar is admirably low at 7 grams, which for a snack bar is damn good. This won't supply enough fiber to get you anywhere near your daily requirement, but it's a reasonable start. And the protein that you get is mostly coming from the nuts which make up the majority of the bar. My biggest issue with this bar is how sticky it is to hold. Even wrestling with it in the wrapper can be a challenge. We've taken to storing the bars in the refrigerator, because it's easier to unwrap when cold. If you're packing it for a day out and you're carrying a cooler with you, I suggest that you put it in there instead of your pocket.

I love these bars! It is hard to find decent gluten-free snacks, and, these are a treasure! They are packed with crunchy nuts and sweet fruit. I like that they are all natural, too. I don't feel guilty indulging with these. They are great to take along to the office, for lunch or snacks, or on the road, and, considering their size, they are really quite filling and satisfying! They are, of course, a little pricey, but, buying them by the case from Amazon (especially if you use Subscribe and Save) makes them less expensive than they are at the local health food store. Excellent!

I first bought these Kind bars at airports, as something to snack on during the flight. They are great, but the "Fruit and Nut" bars are nearly impossible to find in grocery stores. They have every other Kind bar variety, EXCEPT for the Fruit and Nut variety. So I just ordered it on Amazon, 12 individually wrapped Kind bars to a case. They arrived in good condition, but sadly, they didn't last long around me. Try them - I think you will be pleased with the taste. When you run out, just sign in on Amazon, and click the "Buy It Again" tab. It's quick and easy to get more.

The perfect snack convenient , easy to carry and very enjoyable

I have tried at least a dozen different flavors of Kind Bars. These taste good and certainly score well in the healthier snack options game. However, the consistency of the product is unbelievably sticky. Even putting it in the fridge for a few minutes doesn’t firm them up. If you’re looking for something you can pack for a quick bite on the go, this isn’t the choice for you. What a mess!

These bars in nearly all their varieties are my new favorite. They are easy to carry with me so if I get the desire for a snack/treat they are handy. They are healthy, natural, great tasting and best of all not overly sweet like so many of these types of bars can be. I really love these. They are actually cheaper at our local Walmart when they have them in stock and some of the other grocery stores that carry them have specials on them occassionally. Overall though the price through amazon is not "higher" enough to make me want to run all over trying to find them at a lesser price.

Las barritas y su sabor es delicioso. El único comentario es que llego el empaque abierto. Revise y todas las barras vienen cerradas y vienen las 12 barritas. Fuera de eso muy bien.
