works good on the slightly stiffer pipe. I have to squeeze the pipe a little to get it to punch all the way thru. Does do a pretty clean punch. Works good considered I did this on a high heat day and pipe was very flexible. Got way to many goof plugs. I hope I don't make that many mistakes. I didn't find them very useful on a pipe I punched twice by mistake but they do work good in the end of a 1/4 drip line if you need to remove an emitter for some reason.

My fault not reading the description carefully but I ordered thinking they are connectors, not the plugs. Thought about returning but this punch tool is amazing. It makes a perfect hole every time and so easy to operate. Highly recommended if you need a punch and plugs.

I had a lot of 1/4" double barb connectors to install in 1/2" tubing and this tool made the job both fast and easy. Well worth the money.

Punctures nice clean holes in the drip line and seems like it will last for a long time. Much better than the multi-tool version that you have to press into the tubing. This is effortless.

I'm just half finished putting in drip system for almost 3 acres. This handy little thing saves so much time and frustration, and no stabbing yourself with the sharp hole punches I've used in the past. If you have a lot to do treat yourself and save a lot of time.

The hole puncher works very well. The plugs are not as easy. I was able to make them work, but it was a process. First, they say to just “pierce” them to use for distribution. Not so. They are solid and need to be drilled. I used a scrap 2x4 and drilled holes to hold the plugs while I drilled them out. The pictures explain it as well as I can. This would have been so much easier if the were hollow at he ends with a small section in the middle to drill out. All in all, I was able to make it work. I also found it helpful to use my board to hold the fitting as I attached the 1/4” tubing to the larger end. Do this BEFORE you attach the plug to the 1/2” distribution line.

I didn’t have a large area to install a drip system, but this handy tool made it so easy I had it done in minutes rather than hours. If you are elderly or have weak hands, you will thank yourself for buying this punch.
