Amazon is still selling the previous version, which is cheaper and has far more ratings. does it matter which i get for the vista v2?

I bought the Farnodbaby insert and stroller bag set on amazon - quite happy with it for my Vista V2 - yea it doesn't have as many reviews but I found it to be good quality and hey I got both the insert and stroller bag for a price than is less than this insert or previous version of this insert so can't beat that! :-)

No, It doesn’t work with the travel strollers. But the mini has a newborn kit that you can buy.

What is this like in very hot weather? Older model has a breathable mesh. Will baby sweat too much?

We have used this in hot weather. It works quite well along with the other stroller ventilation. We also use a portable fan to keep the baby cool.

Is this snuggle washable? If yes, should I wash whole insert or just cover?

Yes, I have thrown it into the washer multiple times and then I leave it out to air dry. I have also used cleaners on it to get stains out. Comes out perfectly clean, like new.
