I purchased this set to replace a flint spring/screw that was missing in one of my zippo's. I ended up switching another one out and still have 3 of them for replacement parts. I am really happy with this purchase. They work great and everything fits like it's suppose too. Great value and really great quality.

Not for Zippo lighters works for other Brands of lighters

I saw some different reviews on similar product and chose this one due to the reviews and yes this is a exact replacement for zippo lighters. works awesome.

The spring is great. I had to change the brass screw to to fit the thread size of the lighter I was repairing. I had been repairing an old Japanese continental Chesterfield lighter , switching the brass screw was very easy. My lighter now is working perfectly.

Headline says it all, it's a perfect fit for genuine Zippo lighters. At least as of this writing and shipment (Mid-June 2021) I verified that the flint screw kit is a perfect fit in Zippo lighters. The key is the thread pitch on the screw, it's coarse which matches a Zippo flint tube. If you buy the wrong assembly (there seems to be a lot of them around), the thread pitch tends to be finer and may mess up the threads on your Zippo's flint tube. That's because the finer pitch threads are intended for the not-Zippo Zippo-style lighters.

If your Zippo has a broken spring or missing the screw, these replacements are great, but what appears to be flint at the top is just metal. It will not spark and you will still need to buy more flints, which sucks based on the price of this listing. The individual packaging is nice in theory but when Amazon packed them at the bottom of a heavy box, the screw heads tore through each other's bags, half the springs were bent, and even one of the "flints" was rubbed sideways into a semicircle. I suppose paying too much for falsely advertised garbage that then gets damaged in shipping is the new normal?

These flint springs for my Zippo lighter were just what the doctor ordered. They were delivered right on time. As soon as I received them I put one in the lighter. The length was perfect and the spring tension was perfect. My lighter works well again and it couldn't be better. Now if I could only find flints that don't wear out so quickly. LOL I would definitely recommend these for an old Zippo
