We originally had our swing hanging from the tree with out the hook and it was not working well . The kids were going sideways and it was dangerous. We quickly ordered the hook . Took under a minute to attach and the kids are having a blast.

Very happy to be able to purchase kit that only contained one strap. Was looking for a way to hang a hammock chair. Most kits sell them with 2 straps for a hammock between trees. This was just what I was looking for. Perfect.
