I bought this to charge my Lumix LX100. This cable connects to the HDMI connector for data transfer, but there is a separate connector for charging the camera. This is not the correct cable for charging.

The original cable that came with my Lumix Panasonic DMC-FZ70 camera was starting to get flaky - it would only successfully allow data transfer if I wiggled the wire in a certain way, and then there would be unexpected disconnects. This cable has no such problems and I now have reliable data transfer capability again. Plus the cable is about a foot longer than the original cable, and it appears sturdier.
