Finally splurged on the WAP. Seamless integration between WAP and router. Very easy set up. Very good range on the 5G side so we get the higher speed through the house. Router admin covers both router and AP which is very convenient. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Very convenient for use with Peplink routers *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2017* I bought three of these to use along with a Peplink Balance One router. The wireless range does not appear to be quite as good as an Apple Airport Extreme, which it turns out has higher transmit power. It also doesn't appear to be as good as recent consumer grade WiFi routers from ASUS. As far as I can tell, these APs do not employ beamforming which may negatively affect comparisons. That said, integration with the Balance One web UI is very convenient. All of the wireless client reporting and AP management in one place instead of logging in to multiple devices to manage them. Setup is almost plug-and-play.One of these along with the Balance One would have been sufficient to cover my approximately 3000 sq. foot house with 2.4 GHz. I ended up adding a total of 3 APs around the perimeter of the house where I had ethernet available with the Balance One in the center. This is arguably overkill, but I wanted to ensure 5GHz, which doesn't penetrate walls very well, was available in key rooms. Also, I wanted to ensure solid coverage outdoors and there were a few dead spots without the third AP.On the whole, I'd recommend these only if you're using a Peplink router for the integration.
