## Description

QP2-4.7 is a pretty generic starter relay used on various brands of mini fridges, kegerators, wine centers and beverage coolers. Fixes the following symptoms: 1. Compressor is not starting; 2. Burning hot; 3. "Click-clack" about every 3-5 minutes when powered on. Replaces the following part numbers: QP2-4R7 / QP2-4.7 / QP2-4.7G12 / WS-EP14F / 3990100070 / 6R8MD3 / AP4565041 / 1206682. Compatible brands and models include but are not limited to: VBR240 VBR440 VBR640. Working Principle: When the motor starts up, it has to overcome its inertia and the reaction force of the load. Therefore, it needs large current and torque when the motor starts up. When turn to normal, in order to save energy, large torque and need a drop, add a set of auxiliary to motor coil, work only at boot time, normal after it is disconnected, the PTC thermistor series auxiliary coil at startup, starts the PTC thermistor into the high impedance state to cut off the secondary coil, just can achieve the effect. Review: FIXED!! - We were prepared to throw out our aging Frigidaire Beverage Center because it stopped cooling (everything else worked). While researching local recycling options I ran across a YouTube video where a guy was able to fix a similar fridge that he picked up off of a curb for free. Following the advice in the video, I removed the back panel from my fridge, located the "PTC Start/Starter Relay", took a couple of pictures to "remember" wire placement, removed the three wires and replaced it with this Reyhoar part and BOOM! The Frigidaire Beverage Center is cooling again. Yay! Cold Beer!

We were prepared to throw out our aging Frigidaire Beverage Center because it stopped cooling (everything else worked). While researching local recycling options I ran across a YouTube video where a guy was able to fix a similar fridge that he picked up off of a curb for free. Following the advice in the video, I removed the back panel from my fridge, located the "PTC Start/Starter Relay", took a couple of pictures to "remember" wire placement, removed the three wires and replaced it with this Reyhoar part and BOOM! The Frigidaire Beverage Center is cooling again. Yay! Cold Beer!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple to change out if you have some Electrical experience.

I was able to fix our small chest freezer at a very reasonable cost versus buying a new freezer. I also now have a spare in case the new one fails. The electrical diagram calls this a Starter Relay, it's not a Relay, it's a ceramic disc that limits inrush current to a safe level. The spring loaded contacts that make the connection to the disk get burned after so many cycles and the freezer stops. I would call this a cost saving part that will fail long before the freezer is worn out.
