Deluxe Necklace Fan

I bought this to wear at my job as I didn't have room at my workstation for a traditional fan and our A/C wasn't cutting it. The fan worked surprisingly well for its size. It didn't blast ice cold air at me like it was a jet engine, but it was comfortable. It has an adjustable strap which came in handy if I wanted the cool air closer to my face or needed it out of the way. This fan was light enough to wear for hours at a time and survived several hard knocks. The battery life was pretty good too. I usually got 25-40 hours out of them (turning it off at lunch helped).

Main reason I'm using this is because I have a rechargeable fan that's a different brand but doesn't run as long as this. I found the weight of this heavier but didn't bother my neck. Size is a bit larger than my other fan. I missed having different speed settings but this fan is quieter. I found the power button on this is less likely to get accidentally turned on due to location. If I was to modify this I'd put mesh screening over openings. I'd also make it possible to charge replaceable hi capacity batteries in it. Overall a good value & design; intake isn't easily blocked while wearing. No issues with durability so far. Some who saw it commented that they thought it was neat or 'oh, too cool'.

This product works great !! So convenient and well worth every dollar on a hot day with no breeze or air conditioning. Its sits perfectly blowimg air directly under the chin neck area cooling the face and neck effectively. I used it once all day and the batteries seemed to last a day no problem, which means the fan doesnt use to much power. Awesome purchase i would recommend to anyone , and would definitely buy this again. I bought 4 on this first purchase , and they made great gifts, especially for women that deal with a great deal of hot flashes during menopause.

I really wanted to love this little necklace fan, but wow… this thing put me through it. First: it’s heavy. Like, surprisingly heavy. It hangs from a thin cord that instantly digs into your neck, and because it’s on a swinging string, it moves in the weirdest way. If you walk quickly or run, it starts flopping around like a confused pendulum — somehow heavy and bouncing everywhere at the same time which can be painful as a woman... Second: the noise. This fan doesn’t hum… it roars. Everyone around you will know you’re trying to cool down. And the big deal breaker: the batteries leaked. I barely had time to use it before the battery compartment turned into a science experiment. Huge disappointment. To be fair, it does blow air — when it actually works — and the cord is adjustable so you can bring it higher if you want the airflow closer to your face. I could also just lift the fan and point it at myself when I needed a quick blast. Those are basically the only positives. But between the weight, the noise, the bouncing, and the leaking batteries… this is a solid 2-star product for me. It technically works, but not in a way I’d ever want to use again.
